Legal and Ethical Constraints

When producing the short film you must think and plan for not offending anyone such as religion, culture or gender.

  • Don't make the female seem powerless and weak.
  • Don't make the male look too powerful and really strong.
  • Don't use a religion example if it able to offend them.
  • Don't say anything that is to racist that it becomes offensive to a lot of people.
  • Etc.
If you are offensive when producing the short film, its more likely not to get people to help your campaign, which is bad and can effect the project from going on further.

If your producing a short film and there is something illegal that can have a major effect on the project. such as fines or getting sued for what you have made but it can be difficult to make something that bad.

Product Placement

Product placement is key part of filming, because if you have any brand that is copyrighted you could be under legal attack because of it. Also if you have a brand in the shot that means that you are representing the brand which sometimes can be bad, for example if there is a 'Coca Cola' bottle in the shot of a short film about physical abuse you could be representing them by saying if you drink 'Coca Cola ' you are a victim or a abuser.
